Access Plus is a service funded by Motability, facilitated by Down Armagh Rural Transport Partnership.
At DART, we are committed to enhancing mobility within our communities, offering individuals and groups the best possible travel experience.
Based in modern, accessible premises at Carn Industrial Estate, just off the M12 junction, we’ve been proudly serving the community for over 20 years with safe, affordable, and accessible transport solutions.
Our fleet of accessible minibuses covers both urban areas—Banbridge, Craigavon, Dromore, Lurgan, and Portadown—as well as surrounding rural regions.
Currently, through funding from the Motability Grants to Charities Fund, we are running the **Access Plus** project, designed to improve transport access for schools, groups, and individuals with additional needs or disabilities.
+For Schools:
Primary and secondary schools in our catchment area can benefit from improved access to extracurricular activities for children with special educational needs.

+For Individuals:
We offer transport for out-of-area health appointments.

+For Groups:
Access Plus helps groups in our region access activities and events, particularly for participants with additional needs.
Best of all, there is no registration fee, and vehicle and driver hire are fully subsidized by Motability, making this service completely free of charge.
In addition, we offer free **CPC D1 driver training** for schools, delivered by our expert team. This essential training, now a legal requirement for driving a minibus as part of paid employment in Northern Ireland, typically costs £900-£1400 per person—yet we provide it entirely free.
